Reading by the fire 12/10

So yesterday was the craziest day of the year for me at work.  I was really tired last night so I picked one of the easiest ones that I had planned out and Eva is just chilling on the mantle reading a Christmas book…

Get your hot cocoa! 12/8

Eva’s just chilling out at the hot cocoa stand with Minnie, Ernie, and Snow White.  Hot Cocoa Stand free printable can be found here.  Hot Cocoa cup printables can be found here.

Oh, and for those of you keeping track, today was my day to set Eva up.  Dan accuses me of trying to one up him after Eva’s stunt yesterday…I would never…  🙂

One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, *Green* Fish… 12/6

Ok, so I was close. This morning Eva was found fishing on the counter and caught a green fish! Thanks for the assist today from Mommy & Daddy’s protein powder and some clear packing tape.

M’s 2nd Birthday!

So yeah, this is late, like a month late, but better late than never!

So as I have said before, I’m thrifty and I don’t think that some of these over the top birthday parties for kids are needed.  We all survived on food, family, and cake.  However to each his own.  I can actually only remember two or three full on kid parties that I had as a kid.  I often got to pick one or two close friends and go to a movie, Sesame Street Live, the circus, or some other fun event.  I liked it that way.  An M will probably have the same thing.  I still had a family party too.

M’s family party this year was Mickey/Minnie themed.  Most decorations were downloaded for free from the web, bought from the dollar store, homemade, and a few things were bought from Etsy.  I made most of the food and the cupcakes, and M loved every minute of it!   Some pictures below…
